Are you heading to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this week with your scanner in hand? If so, IndyFREQ could use your help!
Each year, we strive to provide the most accurate and comprehensive list of scanner frequencies for fans attending the Indy 500—and this year, we’re aiming to make it our best yet. That’s where you come in.
We’re currently looking to confirm and update several of the lesser-known or “bonus” frequencies that often enhance the race-day experience. These include things like:
- Race Control – Hear the official calls and decisions that shape the action on the track.
- Public Address (PA) – Stay in sync with track announcements and commentary.
- Safety Channels – Listen in on safety crews, response teams, and medical support.
- CCTV / TV Coordination – Catch behind-the-scenes comms for broadcast operations and in-house video feeds.
If you’re scanning at the track this week and can verify any of these frequencies—or stumble across something new—please consider sharing your findings with us. Even one confirmed frequency can make a big difference for thousands of fans. Be sure to check out the Bonus Frequencies at the bottom of the frequency page– which includes known frequencies from IMS in 2024 and 2023, as well as some scanned frequencies from this year’s race at St. Pete.

You can easily send us your notes via the email form below or drop us a direct message through our Facebook page. Every contribution helps make the scanner guide more accurate, more fun, and more valuable for everyone attending the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
Thanks in advance for your help—and happy scanning!
