Took Lulu to her first movie tonight. Here in Indy we are fortunate enough to still have a drive in theater. It’s the perfect get away and date night, while you still have your baby with you! She can enjoy the movie for a bit, sleep, cry; and we never have to leave! We also get to see two movies, or eight if you have enough mirrors and radios. We are watching Despicable Me, followed by The Expendables. I guess the thought is kids fall asleep during the first flick, and then the adults get to enjoy the second. My favorite part is still the old school intermission cartoons and music. There aren’t very many drive-ins left in this country, one stat says from around a peak of 4,000 theaters down to 400. So if you are ever near one, check it out. Support keeping them around!
