A new spotter guide came out, and they actually listed the PA system! But it’s a frequency I’ve not had this entire month. So either it’s new, or the others worked, and no one stumbled on this one. Either way- I’ve added it to v6 of my config files, as well as the Frequency Page.
I also simplified the Bearcat file. Instead of tones and no-tones to choose between and download… I suddenly realized that there was plenty of space to hold both! So, Banks 5-8 are now all set to “SEARCH” for the tone, while 1-4 remain Primary and Backups with tones, if known.
CSV files were also updated with the new PA frequency.

What changed:
- Added 450.9000 as the IMS PA Primary
- Bearcat file is now just one file, with Primary (and tone) on banks 1/2, Backups (and tone) on banks 3/4, Primary (no tone) on banks 5/6, and Backups (no tone) on banks 7/8.
- Instead of setting TONE to OFF, I have set it to SEARCH. This will function the same way while listening but also flash up the detected TONE on the screen whenever it stops on a transmission. This can be useful if you are trying to seek out the tone, to update the original channel.

What didn’t change:
- I did not come across any frequency updates for any drivers.
- I did not update any tones since version 5
