Blog frequenter and RadioReference user BD200W sent me an interesting email the other day.
A Couple New FCC Applications popped up over the Week, Dale Coyne Frequency Additions and the Prema Racing LLC New Application. Prema has 4 Analog Frequencies and 6 Digital and it looks like Coyne is adding 5, maybe, switchable Digital/Analog Frequencies, if I’m reading it correctly.
Prema Racing LLC: http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/ApplicationSearch/applMain.jsp?applID=15223884
Dale Coyne Racing: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/ApplicationSearch/applMain.jsp?applID=15215480
This means the following has been requested by Prema (which as of 2/24/25 are still pending): 461.1625, 461.3375, 462.7375, 466.1625, 461.08125, 466.23125, 464.51875, 469.56875, 466.24375, 469.48125

While Dale Coyne is adding 5 more frequencies to their existing list: 451.8, 462.8875, 451.8125, 466.3625, 461.2375

It will be interesting to see which, if any of these, show up on spotter guides this year for drivers- as primary or backup frequencies.
As always, you can see the latest updates on this year’s frequencies on my List of Latest Frequencies, or you can follow the guides I have put together on how to purchase, and program a few different radios and scanners for first-timers into the hobby. I welcome your feedback and hope you learn something new!
