Always looking and researching when I get the bug- I was trying to find a better looking version of the Mann Coat Of Arms I had previously written about. I came across an image that is a very close match to the one in the book. In the history found on that particular page, under the heading “Other Mann Pedigree & Family Trees” It picks up with John Mann in 1445, who I have listed as being the son of Saloman Le Man. The history in this section matches almost everything I have, until we reach the children of Samuel Mann (b. 1647) and Esther Ware (b. 1655) – My tree (from family records) shows a son, William Mann (b. 1679), but this site lists sons: Samuel, Nathaniel, Theadore. No mention of William or his wife Bethia Rocket, or their son Elijah Mann (b. 1709).
The end of the page did list another new book I’ll look though: Genealogy of the Mann Family by Rev. Joel Mann – I have not looked through this book yet at this time. Another version of the same book (maybe slightly easier to read) is available from the Boston Public Library was well.
On page 6 and 7 of this book, William Mann and Bethia Rocket are mentioned- but William’s birth date is not mentioned here. Might be why his name was left out of the coadb.com page?

Haha! Well, I’m glad you had the 5 that you did! Can you imagine the family reunions back then? (although- they probably either lived close, and didn’t need reunions, or lived so far away that it just never happened at all)
